KIMA International School of Theology

“Equipping servants for work
in God’s Kingdom”

Kima International School of Theology (KIST), an institution of the Church of God, offers programs in Christian Ministries, Bible and Theology, and Computer Application Packages (KNEC).

At KIST, students are challenged to obtain the attitudes, skills and knowledge required to be effective leaders in the church and community.  KIST provides out students with excellence in classroom instruction and deliberate mentoring and disciplined practice of servant leadership.

The administration, faculty, staff, and students of KIST represent the diversity of the universal Church of God, our faith in Jesus Christ, and our acknowledgement of the Bible as “God breathed”, and our commitment to the whole gospel, united.

Education Philosophy

Our education philosophy is premised on the Bible as the Word of God and the foundation and authority for truth.  Excellence in classroom teaching, spiritual growth and maturation of every student, and practical Christian ministry for every student are the primary and central elements in our education philosophy.  This philosophy is the guiding standard for designing, implementing, and evaluating the curricular and co-curricular activities of the college.

Accreditation

KIST is a registered institution with the Ministry for Higher Education (Certificate Number MOHEST/PC/1339/010) with programs approved and validated by the Commission for Higher Education.  Our Bachelor’s Degree in Bible and Theology is offered through a Continuing Education Agreement with Global University, which is accredited by the Distance Learning and Training Council under the auspices of the United States Department of Education.  KIST is an affiliate member with the Accrediting Council for Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA).
